In the video, a white dwarf star drains all the gases from the star next to it.
the "vampire star" is sucking the life (gases) out of the other therefore leading to the explosion.

the white dwarf is dieing, so it is trying to suck up enough energy to help it last longer. it pretty much becomes a black hole, but it is easier to see.

This was really neat, i remember our diagram of the supernova and white dwarf, but actually seeing it occur was fasinating, if thats spelled correctly.

The vasmpire blood is sucking energy out of the star. Therefore, the name is a vampire for sucking blood (energy) out of another thing. People should be scared of these because they are far away. The vampire star is a neutron star that is taking energy from another in order to live.

I remember drawing our diagram, and seeing it was much different than I though of. The white dwarf drains all the gases.

That star sucked all the energy from the star next to it. Therefor it seems as if it is a vampire star. That dwarf star sucking the life out of the other star caused the explosion.
