Well who know there was so many things so precist about galaxies, spirals and elipticals. Thats too cool for school! Id like to learn more about this, and the Milky Way concept as well.

The various shape of the galaxy has to do with the dark matter near and the making of the protostar. Also by the gravitational pull of other planets. It's cool to think planets have only eplored 4% of OUR galaxy not including other's.

There is alot of interresting things to know about the galaxies,and planets.
i wonder what would happen if you starred at ellipticals for a long time. i cant believe they think its 13 bil yrs though.

gravity TRYS to pull apart the matter that form galaxys, but there is gravity pulling from all around the galaxy so it stretches, or collapses into itself(folds over, and over again into itself) therefore making itself smaller. i kno that this is not what the post says, but gravity is tha cause of everything, from the big bang, to the apple falling on Newtons head from: J.P.
